 REASONS FOR HOPE

We´re bound to Earth

Imprisoned in form.

When fate challenges,

It doesn´t forewarn.

 

We live in darkness.

We blunder along ---

Making mistakes,

Doing things wrong.

 

Then arrives pain

And loss of health.

We lose our friends

We lose our wealth.

 

But cause and effect

We gradually learn.

What causes loss

We come to discern.

 

Thus we gain wisdom

We enter the light.

We gain control,

Set our  lives right.
