Dr. Elsa M. Glover 's Transition
Death is only an old door
Set in a garden wall;
On gentle hinges it gives,
At dusk when the thrushes call.
Along the lintel are green leaves,
Beyond the light lies still;
Very willing and weary feet
Easily move across that sill.
There is nothing to trouble any heart;
Nothing to hurt at all.
Death is only a quiet door
In an old wall.

Below, an inspiring poem by Elsa M. Glover.
Cosmic Consciousness
One universal body contains all
matter.
One universal nerve feels all
pains.
One universal mind contains all
wisdom.
One universal spirit fills all
planes
In the universal body
All parts working together are
needed.
Those in touch with Cosmic
Consciousness
Know all viewpoints must be
heeded.
In the universal feeling
The pain of one is for all a fact.
Those in touch with Cosmic
Consciousness
By compassion are led to act.
In the universal mind
Is the Cosmic Plan.
Those in touch with Cosmic
Consciousness
Know what´s good for beast and man.
In the universal spirit
Is all in earth or heaven.
Those in touch with Cosmic
Consciousness
Know from It no one is riven.
When all gain Cosmic Consciousness
When all parts know the Whole
Then all will be united
Into one harmonious whole
